Who will prepare the business plan for this new asset? Should this be a long term or short term hold? What capital expenditures and infusions will be necessary to execute that strategy? What kind of equity and debt will be needed? How will ownership be structured? Too often successful companies default to the same old approach and structure. Is this necessarily the best approach, or should a different approach be considered? How will it get implemented?
