Stanley P. Herskovitz
Mr. Herskovitz’ entire business career has been devoted to a national presence in the Multi-family and Commercial Real Estate industries. Some highlights of his career include:
- Present. Principal, PARADIGM Financial Consulting. PARADIGM provides consulting expertise to owners and developers, throughout the United States, in the evaluation of existing commercial, market rate and affordable multi-family assets and portfolios, to determine if current business plans and financing structures are appropriate or if repositioning, refinancing or restructuring is needed. PARADIGM also offers a complete letter of intent to closing expertise to expedite the evaluation, financing and closing of new acquisitions. Finally, as affordable housing experts, PARADIGM will manage all aspects of the process necessary to take an affordable project from concept through acquisition or development planning, bond financing, tax credit equity, if appropriate, to closing.
- 1997-2008. Fairfield Residential LLC. Headed a group charged with taking all properties purchased pursuant to the company’s acquisition/rehabilitation program from letter of intent through closing, eventually achieving the title of Senior Vice President. This endeavor included property review, due diligence review, contract negotiations and execution, financing and closing. This included more than 275 acquisitions totaling more than $7,500,000,000 in purchase value, and more than $5,500,000,000 in financings. Mr. Herskovitz also headed the company’s affordable housing initiative.
- 1991-1997. Vice President and Principal of Washington Pacific Mortgage, an affiliate of Washington Mortgage Financial Group. Washington Pacific Mortgage was merged into Washington Mortgage in 1992, and Mr. Herskovitz became a Vice President of Washington Mortgage Company. With both companies, Mr. Herskovitz originated multi-family loans using the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and several different institutional conduit programs. He also originated
health care facility loans pursuant to the company’s conduit facilities. This activity was carried out throughout the western United States, with total origination activity approaching $200,000,000.
- 1990-1991. With a partner, developed an apartment building and condominium townhouse project in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles.
- 1987-1990. Co-owner and Vice President of Marstan Management Company where he oversaw the property management of approximately 2500 apartments and condominium units, located in approximately 30 properties in the greater Los Angeles area. Mr. Herskovitz also was responsible for the financing activities that supported the company’s acquisition, brokerage and development business.
- 1980-1987. Co-Owner and Vice President of ABKO Investment Co and Equity Advisory Group, where he was responsible for the identification of and acquisition of commercial and multi-family assets as well as the company’s real estate brokerage activities. These properties were primarily located in Southern California, but did include properties in Florida and Georgia.
- 1977-1980. Executive Vice President of the Bromet Companies, wherein he headed up all aspects of multi-family acquisitions, including
asset review, contracting, financing and closing. He was also responsible for oversight of the company’s property management operations.
Stan Herskovitz is now a full time resident of Park City, Utah. Prior to moving to Utah, Mr. Herskovitz was a 17 year resident of San Diego California. Prior to his family’s move to San Diego, Mr. Herskovitz lived in several different communities in Los Angeles, California where he was born and grew up. He is a graduate of Granada Hills High School, and holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Administration from California State University at Northridge. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. |
